The educational criteria for the RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment 2024 are typically as follows:
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General):
- A minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree.
- Postgraduate degrees are not mandatory but may be preferred.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DEPR) (Department of Economic and Policy Research):
- A Master’s Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Integrated Economics, Finance, or similar fields with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized university.
- Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DSIM) (Department of Statistics and Information Management):
- A Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD), or an M.Stat degree from the Indian Statistical Institute.
- Alternatively, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA), or an equivalent qualification from a reputed institute can also be considered.
