UPSC CDS 2 Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSC CDS 2 Recruitment 2024 :
- Written Examination:
- For IMA, INA, and AFA: The exam includes three subjects: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. Each subject is of 100 marks, making a total of 300 marks.
- For OTA: The exam includes two subjects: English and General Knowledge, each carrying 100 marks, making a total of 200 marks.
- The exam duration for each subject is 2 hours.
- Interview/Personality Test (SSB Interview):
- Candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.
- The SSB Interview is conducted in two stages:
- Stage I: Includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). Candidates who clear Stage I proceed to Stage II.
- Stage II: Comprises Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference. This stage lasts for 4 days.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates who clear the SSB Interview must produce the required documents, such as proof of age, academic qualifications, and other relevant certificates, for verification.
- Medical Examination:
- Candidates who are recommended by the SSB are required to undergo a medical examination to assess their physical fitness as per the standards set by the respective services.
